Free 16-week skills training

Skills Bootcamps are free, flexible courses of up to 16 weeks, giving you the opportunity to build up sector-specific skills and fast-track to an interview.

Get an interview. Not just do a course.

The goal of most schools are to get you to complete a course. The goal of this Skills Bootcamp is to teach, mentor, and coach you until you get an interview. We will help you identify the roles and games studios that are right for you and personalise your training to your career.

No need to job search alone

It's easy to access learning content online. Our mentors will help you with the hard part - structure, feedback, accountability, motivation, and focus. With 1-2-1  mentoring and coaching calls, plus interviewing support, we put a whole team around you as you work to get the job you want.

Train in the skills industry needs

Our pathways are designed after a rigorous analysis of the jobs market and in partnership with employers. Using our Skills Scorecards, you will be set work that helps you learn and hone the necessary skills required for your dream job.

Your path to well-paid future jobs in creative industries

Mastering real-time engines is your passport to a new industry or up-skilling in your current job. From mastering your technical skills, to applying for jobs, to ace-ing your interview, we will be at your side.

The real-time industry continues to grow and is desperate for fresh, diverse talent with sound programming knowledge, and game engine skills, like Unreal Engine. This Skills Bootcamp has been designed to get you one of those jobs.

Your journey ahead

The Skills Bootcamp is designed to mirror the real workplace with projects, 1-2-1 feedback, and working with actual production workflows and tools.  Learning is important, but getting you the job is the main goal.

You will be matched with a technical mentor based on the job you are aiming for. Using your personalised Skills Scorecards, you will discuss your current competencies and where you need to be at the end of 16 weeks. From this, you will be set work that helps you learn and hone the necessary skills.

You will attend group workshops every other week, tackling topics such as communicating your ideas, giving feedback to others, understanding your values, communicating your unique selling point and building your network. You will complete a Clifton Strengths analysis to understand the strengths you can offer employers.

Every four weeks we take a day to come together and work in a live production environment. Create work, make decisions rapidly, meet fellow creators and get feedback on what you have achieved – plus, learn how to balance the emotions that come with creating work you love to deadline.

If required, you'll work with our mindset coaches to improve your confidence, lift your ambitions, overcome barriers and find your purpose.

During your 16 weeks, you will work with your mentor and career coach to build real-world projects and improve your profile to get noticed by recruiters.

Find your first job with support to write your CV and LinkedIn, prepare your portfolio, get ready for interviews, and everything else that comes with a job search.

As part of Skills Bootcamps, we organise an interview for you with one of our partners. You’ll take everything you’ve learnt and present your best self to a potential employer.

Get ready for your new future in games.

Built with industry, for industry

Detailed job market analysis

Our pathways are the result of a rigorous analysis of job demand. Current open vacancies, expected salaries, forecast job growth, skill shortages and industry opinion are just some of the factors we study to ensure our bootcamps match the real industry demand.

Curriculum designed for jobs

We have developed a Skills Scorecard after consulting extensively with hiring managers, recruiters and senior industry leads to ensure we focus on the skills and capabilities the industry needs. We constantly adapt and tailor the materials to fit the job and career that is your goal.

Created like a studio, not a school

Small groups, project-based learning, personal time management, ownership of your own goals, industry-standard communication tools, the bootcamp is designed to replicate the real world of work, so you can hit the ground running when you start your new career.

Hiring partners

We work with VFX studios, VR/XR studios, Games Studios and Architecture Studios to place our talent in jobs. Large or boutique, London-based or nationwide, in-person or remote working, we help you find the right fit for you.
